April Color of the Month

HGTV's color of the month for April is violet. Which is definetly not a color for everyone, but I think it can be done in some very nice ways. I love it for a girls bedroom.   HGTV'S color of the month for August is Chrome Yellow. While a very bright cheerful color, it can be very overwhelming. I like it as an accent to add a pop of color in a room. What is the difference between blinds and shades?
